Stitch Description
The openwork mullions stitch creates a textured checkered fabric. Made with a stranded technique, it’s a simple but effective knitting pattern. By using basic slip stitches long horizontal floats are used to give the appearance of offset squares with different textures. The beauty of this method is it’s being composed mostly of stockinette knitting, so beginners can easily knit it up.
