Stitch Description
This knitting tutorial will help you learn how to knit the large eyelet rib stitch. This stitch adds a feminine touch to the traditional rib stitch. The large eyelet rib stitch would be great for shawls, blankets and anywhere you’d like to dress up your ribbing!

Pattern Instructions
Cast On: Multiples of 6 + 2
- Row 1: (right side) *P2, k2tog, [yo] twice, sl 1, k1, psso; rep from * to last 2 sts, p2.
- Row 2: K2, *p1, knit into first yo, purl into 2nd yarn over, p1, k2; rep from *to end
- Row 3: *P2, k4; rep from * to last 2 sts, p2.
- Row 4: k2, *p4, k2; rep from * to end
Repeat these 4 rows until you have reached your desired length.

I really like this rib and would like to use it for socks. Is there a pattern that would enable you to work it in the round?
you would need to reverse the wrong side rows. so knits would be purls and visa versa.
