The Garter Rib Stitch :: Knitting Stitch #41

The Garter Rib Stitch is a ribbing pattern which consists of alternating offset rows of garter stitch. The offset is achieved by repeating a section of only knit stitches, and following it with a section of purl stitches. This is a simple pattern and great for beginning knitters.
