The Dutch Pyramids stitch is a textural pattern made up of only knit and purl stitches. It creates a large but subtle triangular motif throughout the fabric. This pattern is great for afghan blocks.

• Row 3: *p1, k5 tbl, p9; rep from * to last 7 sts, end with p1, k5 tbl, p1
• Row 4: *k1, p5 tbl, k9; rep from * to last 7 sts, end with k1, p5 tbl, k1
• Row 5: *p2, k3 tbl, p3, k6, p1; rep from * to last 7 sts, end with p2, k3 tbl, p2
• Row 6: *k2, p3 tbl, k3, p6, k1; rep from * to last 7 sts, end with k2, p3 tbl, k2
