The Totem Pole Lace Panel Stitch

The Totem Pole Lace Panel Knitting Stitch Pattern

About this Stitch Pattern

The Totem Pole Lace Panel is a geometric pattern resembling the carved totems found in many indigenous cultures. The bold graphics incorporate columns of textured “V” shaped panels, similar to eagle’s wings stacked atop each other. The resulting fabric is good for large square or rectangular pieces of fabric like blankets, scarves, and sock cuffs.

I used to be able to copy/paste these wonderful stitch patterns but when I do it now it comes out all jumbled. How else can we copy these without hand writing them out?

  2. Pat says:

I make socks and would love to know how to convert this and other stitch patterns for use in the round.
Your videos are always clear and concise, so I am hoping if I ask you might consider doing a video on the subject.
