The Scallop Pattern Stitch

The Scallop Pattern Lace Knitting Stitch

About this Stitch Pattern

The scallop pattern is a lace knitting stitch that creates a fabric with columns of shell motifs, stacked on each other. Similar to the Old Shale or Feather and Fan stitches, this pattern does not have the same ripple effect as those other stitches. The result is a nice lace fabric perfect for scarves, blankets, and hats.

I realize that it is a lot of video time and repeating but it would be really great if you actually showed the whole row. For someone who is learning to read and understand the pattern it’s hard to understand what you mean by repeat from last. Sorry if it is inconvenient. Thank you

      Hi Zhenia!

That sounds more like an issue with learning to read a pattern. We plan on doing a video or class on this topic in the future, but we won’t be showing an entire row in the video.

      Thanks for the suggestion!

Actually since I have been watching your videos, I have come to learn how to read patterns. You are great. Thanks 🙂
