Stitch Description
The single crochet two together decrease (sc2tog) is a basic decrease stitch that helps shape your project by removing stitches from your pattern. It is used in everything from sweaters to hats to bags.
Pattern Instructions
- Step 1: Insert your crochet hook into the next stitch in the row.
- Step 2: Yarn over.
- Step 3: Pull the yarn through the stitch on your crochet hook. You should now have two stitches on your crochet hook.
- Step 4: Insert your crochet hook into the next stitch in the row.
- Step 5: Yarn over.
- Step 6: Pull the yarn through the first stitch on your crochet hook. You should now have three stitches on your crochet hook.
- Step 7: Yarn over.
- Step 8: Pull the yarn through all three stitches on your crochet hook.
