This video knitting tutorial will help you learn how to purl three together (p3tog). This technique is often used in knot or bobble patterns in order to create a small clump of stitches. It can also be used to decrease two stitches at a time.

Skill: Easy

Pattern:

Step 1: With the yarn in front, insert your working needle into the next three stitches on your main needle, purl wise.

Step 2: Wrap the working yarn around your working needle.

Step 3: With your working needle, pull the yarn through all three stitches on your main needle.

Step 4: Pull all three stitches off your main needle.
