About this Stitch Pattern
The Make One Towards Increase can be used whenever you pattern calls for a make one (M1) increase. Increases add stitches to your work and are used to shape your fabric. The Make One Towards increase is a neat and clean increase that is easy to create, but it does result in a small hole. This may be desirable as a decorative element.

Stitch Pattern Instructions
Step 1: Take your working yarn, and bend your index finger toward you. This should create a loop around your finger.
Step 2: Insert the tip of your working needle into the back of the loop on your finger and release it onto the needle.
Step 3: Knit the next stitch off your main needle.

Stitch Pattern Characteristics
On my pattern it does not say M1T or M1L. All it says is: K1,M1,K6,M1,K1. So what do I do?
thanks
@mamagriz any of the M1 increases will work. M1 just means to increase.
