This video knitting tutorial will help you learn how to knit the one over two bind off. This method for finishing your work creates a gathered edge. Its good for fabric that has a lot of horizontal stretch, such as allover traveling cables and openwork.

Instructions:
Step 1: Work three stitches as normal.
Step 2: Insert the main needle into the first stitch on your working needle.
Step 3: Slip the first stitch over the other two stitches.
Step 4: Work one stitch as normal.
Rep steps 2 – 4 until the last two stitches.
Bind off the last two stitches using the basic knit bind off.
