Pattern Instructions

    Skill: Easy
  1. Step 1

    Bind off to where you would like to begin diagonal portion of your bind off, knit across the rest of the row

  2. Step 2

    Turn and work back to the end of the row, sl last st purlwise, turn.

  3. Step 3

    Sl 2 sts purlwise, pass second slipped stitch over the first, BO one stitch, k to end of the row

Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have bound off your desired number of stitches

    Thanks for the tutorials – they are great. I was just wondering how you might substitute the bias bind off in a pattern that instructs you to, for example, bind off xxx number of stitches at each end over, say, five rows. This gives a nicer finish but I wouldn’t know how to substitute it!
