This crochet tutorial will help you learn how to crochet the sunflower motif stitch. This stitch creates a fun sunflower pattern. The sunflower motif stitch would be great for afghans, pot holders, and blankets!
Round 1: 3ch (count as 1dc), work 15dc into ring, sl st into 3rd of 3ch at beg of round.
Round 2: 5ch (count as 1dc, 2ch), 1dc into same st as last sl st, *1ch, skip 1dc, into next dc work [1dc, 2ch, 1dc]; rep from * 6 times more, 1ch, sl st into 3rd of 5ch at beg of round.
Round 3: sl st into 1st 2ch sp, 3ch (count as 1dc), into same sp work [1dc, 2ch, 2dc], *1ch, into next 2ch sp work [2dc, 2ch, 2dc]; rep from * 6 times more, 1ch, sl st into 3rd of 3ch at beg of round.
Round 4: sl st into next dc and 1st 2ch sp, 3ch, work 6dc into same sp as last sl st, 1sc into next ch sp, [7dc into next 2ch sp, 1sc into next ch sp] 7 times, sl st into 3rd of 3ch at beg of round. Fasten off.
Repeat rounds 1-4 until you have reached your desired length.
