Foundation Chain:Multiples of 6 + 1
- Row 1 (Wrong Side): Skip 3ch (count as 1dc), 3dc into next ch, skip 2ch, 1sc into next ch, *skip 2ch, Shell into next ch, skip 2ch, 1sc into next ch; rep from * to last 3ch, skip 2ch, 4dc into last ch, turn.
- Row 2 1ch (counts as 1sc), skip 1 st, *skip next 3 sts, Shell into next sc, skip 3 sts, 1sc into next ch sp; rep from * ending last rep with 1sc into top of tch, turn.
- Row 3 3ch (count as 1dc), 3dc into first st, skip 3sts, 1sc into next ch sp, *skip 3 sts, Shell into next sc, skip 3 sts, 1sc into next ch sp; rep from * ending skip 3 sts, 4dc into tch, turn.
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until you have reached your desired length.
In row 1, (and in the written instructions) when you did the shell you did a ch1 after the 3dc. However in rows 2 & 3 you did not do the ch1 in the shell. Which is correct?
Row 1 is correct. Looks like I wasn’t paying attention to my own crocheting.
