The Seeded Rib Check Stitch is a reversible stitch that uses alternating knits and purls to created a ribbed checker pattern. It’s great for washcloths, blankets, and would also be good for menswear patterns.
The Moss Stitch pattern is similar to the seed stitch in that it alternates between k1 and p1 on different rows. However in this pattern you repeat the row twice before switching, giving your work a different texture that is great for wash cloths, scarves, and hats.
The Drop Stitch technique uses additional wraps around your working needle while knitting to create elongates stitches. Also called the Elongated Stitch, the effect is an airy and light open fabric with very nice drape. It’s a great way to introduce beginners to lace.
