How to Crochet the Wide Double Stitch

This video crochet tutorial will help you learn how to crochet the wide doubles stitch. This simple crochet pattern brings a small twist on the double crochet. By moving where the stitch is performed, a checkered mesh fabric is crated. It’s great for baby blankets and market bags.

Skill: Beginner
Foundation Chain: Any number of stitches

TECHNIQUES USED IN THIS STITCH:
Double Crochet – dc

Pattern Instructions:

This stitch is performed just like the double crochet stitch. The only difference is you will insert your hook in-between the post stitch instead of the top of the stitch.
