This crochet 101 beginner video tutorial will help you learn how to crochet a double crochet. Like the single crochet, the double crochet is an essential technique to all many crochet stitches. It is thone of the most common stitches performed.

Step 1
Chain 3, yarn over

Step 2
Insert hook into the second stitch from hook, making sure to insert it into bottom of the stitch not top of the stitch.

Yarn over again.

Draw the yarn through – now you should have three loops on your hook

Yarn over again.

Draw yarn through first two loops on hook, yarn over again
