The Banded Basket Stitch

The banded basket stitch is a knitting pattern which creates a woven looking fabric. The basketweave pattern has one column of thin stitches, and one almost double its width. This is a simple, reversible, all-over knitting stitch, and it's graphic lines are aesthetically pleasing on larger projects.
