Foundation Chain: Any even number.
- Row 1: working in back loops only, 1dc in 4th ch from hook, 1dc in each ch across row, turn.
- Row 2: ch 3, *yo, insert hook into skipped loop of beg ch, and through front loop of next dc, pick up a long loop, [yo, draw through 2 loops] twice to complete a dc, rep from * across, 1dc in top of tch, turn.
- Row 3: ch 3 (counts as dc), skip 1st st, *yo, insert hook into skipped loop of previous row, and through front loop of next dc, pick up a long loop, [yo, draw through 2 loops] twice to complete a dc, rep from * across, 1dc in top of tch, turn.
Repeat row 3 until you have reached your desired length.
