Honeycomb Cable Stitch

About this Stitch Pattern

The Honeycomb Cable Stitch creates a heavily textured fabric that emulates the hexagonal shapes of the honeycomb. Made with only simple cable stitches, this pattern develops into a thick, dense fabric. While beautiful, there is not much drape, making this stitch better for home decor items like pillows and blankets.

But paired with the right yarn, like silk, linen, or alpaca, it can be made into scarves or sweaters as well.

Great beginner cable stitch pattern.
