This crochet tutorial will help you learn how to crochet the Flemish motif. This stitch creates a beautiful flower design. The Flemish motif would be great for pillows, curtains, and afghans!
Round 1: 1ch, 16sc into ring, sl st to 1st sc.(16sts).
Round 2: 12ch (count as 1tr and 8ch), skip 2 sc, [1tr into next sc, 8ch, skip 1sc] 7 times, sl st to 4th of 12ch.
Round 3: 1ch, *[1sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 3tr, 4ch, insert hook down through top of tr just made and work a sl st to close, 2tr, 1dc, 1hdc, 1sc] into next 8ch sp; rep from * 7 mores times, sl st to 1st sc. Fasten off.
