TECHNIQUES USED IN THIS STITCH:

Knit Stitch – K
Stockinette Stitch-St st

Skill: Easy
Cast On:Any number of stitches.

Pattern Instructions

  1. Step 1

    slip the 1st st on to working needle knitwise.

  2. Step 2

    slip the 2nd st on to working needle knitwise.

  3. Step 3

    knit the 3rd stitch.

  4. Step 4

    slip the 2nd stitch over the 3rd stitch.

  5. Step 5

    slip the 3rd stitch back to your main needle.

  6. Step 6

    slip the 4th stitch over the 3rd stitch.

  7. Step 7

    slip the 3rd stitch to your working needle and slip the 1st stitch over the the 3rd stitch.

  8. Step 8

    slip the 3rd stitch back to the main needle and slip the 5th stitch over the 3rd stitch.

  9. Step 9

    slip the 3rd stitch to your working needle and continue knitting as normal.

Repeat steps 1-9 until you have reached your desired length.
