This video knitting tutorial will help you learn how to knit the ridge lace stitch. This simple lace pattern creates a beautiful ribbed mesh that is great for shawls, blankets, and market bags.
Skill: Easy
Cast On: Multiples of 2
TECHNIQUES USED IN THIS STITCH:
Knit – k
Purl – p
Knit 2 Together Trough the Back Loop – k2tog tbl
Purl 2 Together – p2tog
Yarn Over – yo
Yarn Around Needle – yrn
Pattern Instructions:
Row 1 (RS): K1, *yo, k2tog tbl; rep from * to last st, k1
Row 2: P1, *yrn, p2tog; rep from * to last st, p1
Repeat these 2 rows until you have reached your desired length.
