TECHNIQUES USED IN THIS STITCH:

Knit Stitch – K
Purl – P

Front Cross (FC)- sl 3 sts to dpn or cable needle and hold in front, k2, then sl the purl st from dpn or cable needle back to left hand needle and purl it, then k2 from don or cable needle.

Back Cross (BC)- sl 3 sts to dpn or cable needle and hold in back, k2, then sl the purl st from dpn or cable needle back to left hand needle and purl it, then k2 from dpn or cable needle.

Skill: Intermediate
Cast On:Panel of 18 sts.

Pattern Instructions

  1. Note

    DPN- Double Pointed Needle.

  2. Row 1

    (Wrong Side): K2, (p2, k1) 4 times, p2, k2.

  3. Row 2

    P2, (k2, p1) 4 times, k2, p2.

  4. Row 3

    K2, (p2, k1) 4 times, p2, k2.

  5. Row 4

    P2, k2, (p1, FC) twice, p2.

  6. Row 5

    K2, (p2, k1) 4 times, p2, k2.

  7. Row 6

    P2, (k2, p1) 4 times, k2, p2.

  8. Row 7

    K2, (p2, k1) 4 times, p2, k2.

  9. Row 8

    P2, (BC, p1) twice, k2, p2.

Repeat rows 1-8 until you have reached your desired length.
