This cable stitch is worked over 6 stitches on a reverse stockinette background
For this pattern you will need to know the following techniques:
Knit – k
Purl – p
Cable 4 Front – C4F
Cable 4 Back – C4B
Pattern Instructions:
Row 1 (RS): K2, C4F
Row 2: P6
Row 3: K6
Row 4: P6
Row 5: K2, C4F
Row 6: P6
Row 7: C4B, k2
Row 8: P6
Row 9: K6
Row 10: P6
Row 11: C4B, k2
Row 12: P6
Repeat rows 1 – 12 until you have reached your desired length.
After a few repeats your pattern should look like this:
