How to Knit the Arrowhead Lace Stitch

This video knitting tutorial will help you learn how to knit the Arrowhead Lace Stitch. This fairly easy lace stitch creates an airy, openwork fabric with columns of arrow like motifs. It has great drape and is perfect for shawls and afghans.

Skill: Intermediate
Cast On: Multiples of 10 + 1

TECHNIQUES USED IN THIS STITCH:
Knit – k
Purl – p
Yarn Over – yo

Slip Stitch – sl
Pass Slipped Stitch Over – psso
Knit 2 Together – k2tog

Pattern Instructions:

Row 1 (RS): K1, *[yo, sl 1, k1, psso] twice, k1, [k2tog, yo] twice, k1; rep from * to end
Row 2: Purl
Row 3: K2, *yo, sl 1, k1, psso, yo, sl 1, k2tog, psso, yo, k2tog, yo, k3; rep from * to last 9 sts, yo, sl 1, k1, psso, yo, sl 1, k2tog, psso, yo, k2tog, yo, k2
Row 4: Purl

Repeat these 4 rows until you have reached your desired length.
