TECHNIQUES USED IN THIS STITCH:

Chain Stitch – Ch
Single Crochet-sc
Double Crochet-dc
Slip Stitch-Sl st
Half Double Crochet-hdc

Skill: Intermediate
Foundation Chain: 6 ch, join with a Sl st.

Pattern Instructions

  1. Round 1

    1ch, into ring work [1sc, 2ch] 6 times, join with sl st to 1st sc.

  2. Round 2

    1ch, into each 2ch sp work [2sc, 1hdc, 3dc, 1hdc, 2sc], join with sl st to 1st sc. (6 petals).

  3. Round 3

    3 sl st to center dc, 3ch (count as 1dc), 4dc into same st, *3ch, 5dc in center of dc of next petal; rep from * 4 more times, 3ch, join with sl st to 3rd of 1st 3ch.

  4. Round 4

    sl st to center dc, 1ch, [1sc, 7ch, 1sc] into same st, *8ch, skip 4dc, [1sc, 7ch, 1sc] into next dc; rep from * 4 more times, 8ch, join with sl st to 1st sc.

  5. Round 5

    Sl st to 4th ch of 7ch loop, 1ch, [1sc, 7ch, 1sc] into loop, *10ch, [1sc, 7ch, 1sc] into 4th ch of next 7ch loop; rep from * 4 more times, 10ch, join with sl st to 1st sc.

  6. Round 6

    Sl st to 4th ch of 7ch loop, 1ch, into same st work (1sc, 6ch, [1 sl st, 6ch] twice, 1sc), *12ch, into 4th ch of next 7ch loop work (1sc, 6ch, [1 sl st, 6ch] twice, 1sc); rep from * 4 more times, 12ch, join with sl st to 1st sc. Fasten Off.
