TECHNIQUES USED IN THIS STITCH:

Chain Stitch – Ch
Half Double Crochet(hdc)

Herringbone Half Double Crochet (HBhdc)- yo, insert hook, yo, draw through st and first loop on hook, yo, draw through both loops on hook.

Skill: Intermediate
Foundation Chain:Add any number of sts. Add 1 for base chain.

Pattern Instructions

  1. Row 1

    skip 2ch (count as 1hdc), 1HBhdc into next and each ch to end, turn.

  2. Row 2

    2ch (count as 1hdc), skip 1 st, 1HBhdc into next and each st to end working last st into top of tch, turn.

Repeat row 2 until you have reached your desired length.
