Stitch Pattern Instructions


Foundation Chain: Multiples of 6 + 3

  • Prep: 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, *ch 2, skip next ch, 1 sc in next ch, ch 2, skip next ch, 1 dc in each of next 3 ch, rep from * across, ending with 1 dc in each of the last 2ch, turn.
  • Row 1: Ch 3, (counts as dc), skip first dc, 1 dc in next dc, *ch 3, 1 dc in next dc ** (first dc of 3-dc group), bobble in next dc, 1 dc in next dc, rep from * across, ending last repeat at **, 1 dc in top of turning ch, turn.
  • Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), skip first dc, 1 dc in next dc, *ch 2, 1 sc in next 3-ch space, ch 2, 1dc in next dc ** 1dc in top of bobble, 1 dc in next dc, rep from * across, ending last rep at ** 1 dc in top of the turn ch.
  • Repeat rows 1 and 2 until you have reached your desired length.

    Could you have two pictures of the stitch of the day. One close up to see detail, and the other a little further back to see what a project would look like. Thanks!

      That would require knitting a bigger swatch which we just don’t have time to do right now. Maybe someday.
