This video knitting tutorial will help you learn how to knit in the fluted fabric stitch. This is a woven rib pattern that creates a slightly dense fabric that is reversible. It’s great for afghans and sweaters or anything that could benefit from a more structured fabric.
Cast On: Multiples of 4 + 1
For this pattern you will need to know the following techniques:
Knit – k
Purl – p
Slip Stitch – sl
With Yarn in Front – wyif
With Yarn in Back – wyib
Row 1 (RS): P1, *k1, sl 1 wyif, k1, p1; rep from * to end.
