TECHNIQUES USED IN THIS STITCH:

Chain Stitch – Ch
Single Crochet-sc
Double Crochet-dc
Half Double Crochet-hdc
Front Post Double Crochet-FPdc
Back Post Double Crochet-BPdc

Front Post Treble (FPtr)- YO twice, insert hook from front to back around post of sc two
rows below next sc, YO and pull up a loop, [YO and draw through 2 loops on hook] 3 times (FPtr made), skip sc behind FPtr.

Skill: Intermediate
Foundation Chain: Ch 19 sts.

Pattern Instructions

  1. Row 1

    (Right Side): dc in 4th ch from hook and each ch across, turn.

  2. Row 2

    ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in next 3dc, skip 3dc, FPtr in next 3dc, FPtr in 3 skip dc, FPdc in next 3dc, dc in next 3dc, dc in top of tch, turn.

  3. Row 3

    ch 2 (counts as hdc), hdc in next 3dc, BPdc in next 9 sts, hdc in next 3dc, hdc in top of tch, turn.

  4. Row 4

    ch 3 (count as dc), dc in next 3dc, FPdc in next 3dc, skip 3dc, FPtr in next 3dc, FPtr in 3 skip dc, dc in next 3dc, dc in top of tch, turn.

  5. Row 5

    ch 2 (counts as hdc), hdc in next 3dc, BPdc in next 9 sts, hdc in next 3dc, hdc in top of tch, turn.

Repeat rows 2-5 until you have reached your desired length.
