Abbreviation: C4B, C4F

Skill: Intermediate

Cast On: Multiples of 8

For this stitch you will need to know the following techniques:

Knit – k

Purl – p

Cable 4 Back – C4B

Cable 4 Front – C4B

Pattern:

Row 1 (RS): * P2, k4, p2, * rep from *

Row 2: * K2, p4, k2, * rep from *

Row 3: Rep row 1

Row 4: Rep row 2

Row 5: * P2, C4B or C4F, p2, * rep from *

Row 6: Rep row 2

Repeat Rows 1-6 until you have reached your desired length.

After a few repeats your pattern should look like this:
